Loaded Nachos with Crumbled Plant-Based Chicken

The perfect plant-based sharing snack! Loaded nachos with smashed avocado, tomatoes and plant-based chicken.

Half Pouch of Seriously Sound Naked Pieces

160g Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips

100g Tomatoes, finely chopped

1 Avocado, mashed with a fork

1 Small Red Onion, finely chopped

1 Green Chilli, deseeded and finely chopped

2tbsp Olive Oil

2tsp Soy Sauce

2tsp White Wine Vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

0.5tsp Ground Ginger

0.5tsp Smoked Paprika

Juice of 1 Lime

Pinch of Black Pepper (optional)

Fresh Coriander (optional)

1. Use a blender or a food processor to reduce the Seriously Sound plant-based chicken into small pieces, as if it was crumbled. Use the pulse button if using a blender. Transfer the plant-based chicken into a bowl. Any large pieces can be broken down a bit further using your hands.


2. Add the olive oil, ground ginger, smoked paprika, and soy sauce into the bowl along with the plant-based chicken. Mix well.


3. Cook the plant-based chicken in a pan according to package instructions (no need to add more oil since it’s already in the marinade). Once ready, set aside and allow to cool down a little.


4. In a small bowl, mix the finely chopped tomatoes, red onion and green chilli with the vinegar and juice of 1⁄2 lime.


5. In another small bowl, combine the mashed avocado with the juice of 1⁄2 lime.


6. Start preparing the layers of your nachos: create a first layer with the tortilla chips, then add the plant-based chicken, the mix with tomatoes, and the mashed avocado. Finish with a pinch of black pepper and fresh coriander (optional). Enjoy!
